The tap-tap-tap description in the story really captures how my daughter experiences sound, and she pointed at the page saying “that's me!” It’s a bit wordy for younger kids, but the sensory perspective feels genuine and opens up good conversations at bedtime.

The story does a good job showing sensory differences from a kid's point of view, and the examples like the tap-tap-tap sound are relatable. But I wish it went a little deeper into what parents or teachers could actually do to help, since it felt more like a conversation starter than a full guide. M
