LifeSteps: Bouncing Back DVD

Finally, a resiliency video that doesn't lecture—Michael Pritchard's tone keeps the middle schoolers hooked, and the segments on external support sparked some real discussion. We used it in advisory and the 6-12 grade range felt right. It's the first DVD we've had that students asked to rewatch.

My 9th graders were actually paying attention when we watched the segment on identifying their internal strengths. It's a great way to start real conversations about bouncing back from tough situations.

Had to skip around a bit since the target audience is pretty clearly middle schoolers, but the section on identifying external support systems was genuinely useful. The student workbook exercises look solid for classroom use.
