Category: Card Games

This game was designed to teach children constructive and effective ways to resolve their anger. The cards allow them the opportunity to choose alternatives that can turn anger-inciting situations into more positive encounters. Through repetitive game play, they will learn how to use the new solutions in real life to avoid negative reactions.

The object of the game is for players to resolve as many anger-inciting situations as they can within a 20 to 30 minute period. Players get chips for resolving anger situations, and the player with the most chips wins the game. The game is designed to be played in counseling sessions, the classroom, or even the home.

A great way to practice anger control techniques!

My 8-year-old usually clams up when we talk about feelings, but the specific scenarios on these cards got him actually suggesting calm-down ideas. The "turn-taking" mechanic kept both my kids engaged instead of arguing. It's been a useful tool for those after-school meltdown moments.

Benjamin ★★★★★

We played this as a family last night and the "choose an alternative" cards sparked some genuinely thoughtful discussions with my kids about handling frustration. The scenarios feel real, not preachy, and it's rare to find a game that's both useful and fun enough to pull out again.

My 8-year-old actually asks to play this after a rough day at school. I love how the cards turn real anger-inciting situations into a calm discussion about better choices.
