Mia O. ★★★★★

My 14-year-old actually read this on her own without me nagging—the way it breaks down drama into manageable steps really clicks for her. The section on handling friend conflicts has already stopped two blow-ups this week.

Scarlett ★★★★☆

My 14-year-old actually opened this book on her own after a rough day at school, which says a lot. The DBT techniques are explained in a way that doesn't feel like a lecture, and the sections on handling friend drama are spot on. I just wish there were a few more concrete examples for handling socia

Lucy E. ★★★☆☆

The DBT techniques are solid and the examples feel real, though the writing style is a bit too adult for some of the younger teens it claims to target. It’s helpful for managing emotional moments, but I wish the chapters were shorter and more digestible.
