Half of all children in the U.S. will experience parental divorce before they turn 18. For a child, this experience can be confusing, tumultuous, and depressing. Nobody Asked Me! provides an avenue for children to express and cope with such feelings.

As players move around the game board, they are asked questions regarding their feelings toward their parents and how their lives have changed following divorce. The game cards address hypothetical situations, including moving to a new neighborhood, financial hardship, parental dating, and remarriage. By considering these issues, children become better prepared for situations they may encounter in the future.

Nobody Asked Me! gives children a voice by asking how they feel about a situation they had no say in that greatly affects their lives.

Suitable for children ages 8 to 15. Up to 4 individuals or teams.

Riley ★★★★★

This deck finally put words to feelings my kids couldn't express during the divorce, and the open-ended questions got them talking more than any direct conversation ever has. Each card is simple but powerful.

Scarlett ★★★★★

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a deck of cards about divorce, but the conversation prompts really helped my kids open up about their feelings. It’s so specific to their experience that it made tough talks surprisingly natural.
