Lacing Beads

Build fine motor skills and visual-motor coordination while kids learn colors, shapes, sorting, matching, patterns, and more. This lacing bead set is a versatile OT staple for strengthening grasp, bilateral coordination, hand separation, and the controlled “threading” movements that support early self-care and pre-writing skills. Children use one of the four brightly colored laces to string large, easy-to-hold beads into repeating color and shape patterns, or to copy patterns from the included activity cards.

With extra-long lace tips for easier threading, this set works well for younger learners and for students who need a little added support with dexterity and coordination. It is great for OT sessions, classroom centers, and home programs, and it can be graded up or down by changing the pattern complexity, the number of beads, or the speed of the task.

Everything stores neatly in the included stackable plastic case with a handle for easy transport and cleanup. Multiple cases can also be snapped together for additional storage options.
