John ★★★★★

I’ve always felt like "lazy" was stamped on my forehead, but this book actually explains the brain science behind why focusing feels impossible. The chapter on morning routines with timers and checklists has made getting ready for school way less chaotic.

John ★★★☆☆

The chapter on why ADHD makes you feel “lazy” hit close to home, and the tone is definitely more respectful than most adults. Still, some sections felt a bit repetitive and I skimmed through the middle. It’s a decent starting point if you’re new to the diagnosis.
