Carter ★★★★★

My students actually ask for this one during read-aloud time, which never happens with lesson books. The colorful pictures make the tattling versus warning distinction click without me having to lecture about it.

Richard ★★★★★

The tattle tongue visual cracked my daughter up, and now she catches herself before running to tell on her brother. The pictures are bright enough to hold a four-year-old's attention while the story still lands for my second graders.

Hazel Y. ★★★★★

My six-year-old actually asks for this one at bedtime, which never happens with his other books. The silly tattle tongue illustrations crack him up, and I've caught him using the warning-versus-tattling idea at school.
